Anthony Hamilton Houston reviews
Venue - Horrible…Just Horrible
Was excited to get out of the house and attend a concert. Something that I have not been able to do in quite some time. Got to the arena everything was fine but then I said down in my seat once I found them and realized that they are very close together and hopefully the arena blocked off one seat in between every couple or every set of tickets purchased...NOPE.
There is nobody sitting next to me for a while because obviously they were late. Once they got there there was a tall and huge wide guy that sit next to me and of course my man is tall and has to have legroom so I was squished the entire time and sweating because the air clearly was not working. Everyone complaining that they were hot an arena issue that needs to be fixed.
The only thing that took my mind away from being so hot and so crammed up was Tank. The songs he sang brought back memories and he was quite entertaining.
Anthony Hamilton was good but I only groove to a couple of songs which were his main songs the rest of the songs….I was ready to go so we left.
Never ever will I again attend a concert at the arena theater…not my vibe…at all
Left wanting more
I enjoyed it, but would have enjoyed it much more had he did a few more songs! It seemed like he did the same amount of songs as Bobby Brown and K. Michelle and they were the openers. The main attraction is supposed to do more! The crowd was super hype when he came out tho. Plus there were a lot of technical difficulties throughout the show.
My suggestion would be, if you bring a newer singer to perform have all singers be newer performers. K. Michelle did a great job, but the crowd was not hype for her like they were for Bobby and Anthony. It was almost like she was performing for an empty house.
Next time keep it all veteran singers or all newer singers. Don't combine them.
My First Time
I think Anthony did an awesome job in his performance. He kept everyone engaged and he worked the whole stage. I only wished he had touched on more of his songs which would have been a more mixture of his old and new ones. Overall, I think his show was excellence being this was my first time coming to his show. I was given a ticket as a gift because the person knew I listen to a lot of this music. I would have loved to have had a met and greet with him because he seems to be a great person. Whenever I have the opportunity to attend his show again, I will most definitely make a point to attend.
